MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology has broken its own record by getting 1600 job offers in the winter placement session. The reason behind this amazing success has been due to the focus on rigorous training provided in order to improve the soft skills of every student.
Over 220 companies have visited the institute and have offered a wide variety of new, niche and regular roles spanning across Consulting, Operations, Analytics, IT, Business Development and General Management. The different type of recruiters that have been seen during the placements were mass recruiters,paymasters, startups, NGOs, technology driven organizations, armed forces, overseas opportunities, non-IT companies and others. In this year�s placement process so far there has been an overwhelming response from new recruiters as well. The highest pay package offered to a student of MS Ramaiah IT was Rs. 24 lakhs per annum while the average was Rs. 5.5 lakhs per annum.
Apart from guiding the students during the placements, the placement department has provided assistance to students in obtaining internship opportunities as well. This year, 54 companies have offered internships to the students and the highest stipend offered to the students is Rs 45,000 per month.
