The Career Guidance & Placement Cell (CGPC) of Oxford College acts as a finishing school which emphasizes on enhancing the employability of Oxford College students and making them placement ready. Dr. B. R. Supreeth, Principal, Oxford PU & Degree College - Ullal
A confident and versatile social worker, Dr. Supreeth is a highly respected and well-known server of the nation who started working for the society since teenage college days. His passion for social justice, tangible social problem-solving capabilities has been the highlight of his personality. He received a Ph.D. Award from university of California, San Francisco, the USA from the department of computer science in 2005. His research work on "Crucial Role of Management Information System in Today's World of Globalization" earned him international recognition and he was selected by West Coast University (WCU) of United Kingdom, where he was appointed as program director to represent WCU in India in 2005. In his illustrious career, Dr. Supreeth has received several awards like "Gowthama Shree" award from government of Karnataka for his service in education, "Karnataka Bhushan" award from the Minister of IT and BT, Government of Karnataka, again for the education. He received "Kempegowda Award Ward Wise" from the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike for his enormous contribution to the society and "Karnataka Vishwamaanya Kannadiga Award" from Mysore Sahitya Academy for his rendering services as a writer of Kannada biography, "Raviteja - A Glow of Sun".
Mrs. Usha Ravindra Nath, Co-Founder, Oxford Institutions
She is also the principal of Oxford School. Started her career as a teacher at a very young age of 24 years, she always dreamt of starting her own school. Finally giving limelight her dreams, Usha incepted oxford Institutions in 1989. She did her masters in economics and education from Bangalore University before stepping into the professional world. Her charming personality has made her connection more special with the kids and she calls the school her second home. The major recognition she received is from the department of education of government of Karnataka for achieving 100 percent result in the SSLC board examination.
