The focus of the International School of Management Excellence (ISME) is the delivery of a well-structured, quality education. The institute has collaborations and MOUs with different organizations and reputed companies from the industry. The three highly acclaimed collaborations of the institute include an online management game from Prof. Arthur Thompson of University of Alabama, a summer internship program with the London School of Economics which provides a class room learning experience studying a management course in London and an affiliation with a University of London college for under graduate programs in UK.
The online management game, also known as the business strategy game is developed by Prof. Arthur Thompson of University of Alabama;it is a specialized and applied form of learning using simulation. The game involves students managing a global athletic footwear company and competing against other companies in a given simulated environment which allows them to apply in practice the analysis and concepts learnt.
The institute has a number of qualified faculty members; a majority of them hold an academic background in IIT or IIM and either have a doctoral degree or are pursuing one. Moreover, they are appreciated for their effort and are encouraged to write articles for various publications and the institute\'s blog, to encourage research in the institute. ISME invites visiting faculties and guest lecturers from IIMs and leading industry stalwarts to share their practical knowledge and industry best practices.
The institute takes pride in being a member of CII, BCIC, NHRD; a number of in-house training programs of the institute are conducted by these bodies. Additionally, ISME cherishes & promotes an entrepreneurial ecosystem; the institute is associated with NASSCOM\'s \"Startup Curation\" which mentors the startup ventures. Through the \"Startup Curation\", the institute assists the budding entrepreneurs in building their ventures through various industry tie-ups. ISME takes pride in the fact that 25 percent of its students join startups and it is likely to go up significantly in their next round of placements.
The Career Opportunity Center of the institute is one of the first in the country which has a dedicated one month Placement Oriented Value Added Term (POVAT) which helps students become job ready. This includes aptitude tests, and workshops on English language and communication skills as a part of the pre-placement training. POVAT focuses on the familiarity withExcel and revision of the concepts and techniques the students have learnt in the previous semesters.
Since 2006, ISME has seen greatest changes in its working processes and the quality and diversity of the students has also increased; it takes pride in the fact that students come from around 20 different states in the country. Thus far, ISME has graduated around 900 students and the alumni are placed in some of the leading MNCs and Fortune 500 companies. The institute believes in ensuring sincerity in the whole process of providing valuable classroom inputs and grooming the students for the placements process; ISME is grounded in the value of quality education, international focus and excellence.

Mr. Nitin Garg, Director
Mr. Nitin Garg is the Director of International School of Management Excellence. He pursued his education in B.Tech and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Bombay and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University-Tepper School of Business. After working as Senior Consultant in Deloitte Consulting in Philadelphia, USA, he started ISME as the founding Director in 2006. Mr. Garg has experience in training companies with finance, energy and also training strategies in various public sector organizations. He has been awarded with the \"International Achievers\' Award\" for Education Excellence at the Thai Entrepreneurs Summit in establishing ISME as one of the leading business schools in India.
