A global credential is the utmost need of the present youth. Schiller International University (SIU), established in 1964 by Dr. Walter Leibrecht is a private university dedicated to the active development and encouragement of international understanding. Relocated to Heidelberg in 1969, the university works with a distinct international focus.

Schiller offers a variety of undergraduate and higher education programs of study at five different campuses worldwide namely Heidelberg in Germany; Paris in France; Madrid in Spain; London in UK; and Largo in Florida. SIU is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, an accrediting body authorized by the U.S. Department of Education. The programs include international business, business administration, international relations and diplomacy, management of information technology, and hospitality and tourism management. The university offers two-year (Associate of Science) programs in international business, international hospitality and tourism management, and nursing. It also offers online degrees through distance learning. Schiller features the American pattern of university education and it provides individual attention to the students that come from a wide range of nations.

The university is also approved for Federal and Veterans' training programs, and offers a limited number of institutional awards to students regardless of citizenship based on need, academic performance, nationality, and grade levels. During their studies, students have the option to transfer to other campus abroad and it facilitates them in becoming conversant with the linguistic, social, economic and political conditions and business practices of several different countries. The students are instructed in the English language and the small study groups train students to present themselves professionally and to negotiate fluently in a truly intercultural environment.

SIU students gain a double degree awarded by Schiller and the University of Roehampton in the United Kingdom as they have signed an agreement where students will study for a degree awarded by Roehampton alongside their Schiller degree and receive two separate qualifications without completing extra Roehampton-specific credits. A student from anywhere in the world studying with Schiller will earn an accredited US degree and this proves to be beneficiary for students from other nations and this factor attracts a lot many of students towards SIU.

As the world becomes more multinational, there is an increase need for the executives who can deal effectively with organizational problems in an international framework and SIU makes efforts to meet these multinational needs of the firms by making a supportive generation.
