Symbiosis Institute of Business Management
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management was established in the year 1978 in Pune and is currently part of the Symbiosis International University. With the rising need to have a future corporate leader who possess in-depth knowledge, strategic thinking, seasoned judgment, international perspective, adaptability and integrity; the institute created the Executive MBA program. This intensive program focuses on bridging the gap between the academia and industry by creating industry specific professionals. The program is designed to build on current knowledge and skill set while teaching the working executive the latest business management, finance and marketing techniques and strategies that are being applied in the corporate world.
Apart from providing deepening understanding of organizational dynamics to improve the design and implementation of new initiatives, the institute hopes that each candidate is able to build capabilities to lead cross-border teams across functions. The program is conducted for duration of 30 months with classes being held on Saturdays and Sundays. However, an important criterion the student must possess is that he/she should possess three years of work experience after graduation.
As it has been able to understand the demands of working professionals, a large number of them are pursuing the executive MBA with them which is helping them gain an enormous amount of knowledge and a chance to solve major problems that their companies face.
