In the batch of 2010-12, 85 students were placed with reputed names like Infosys, TATA Mc Graw Hill, Axis bank, JP Morgan and many more.

To educate, train and mold the students into efficient professionals with flexibility to meet the requirements of the Industry, T.John ensures that its teachers are the cream of the bunch. The teaching staff goes through a rigorous testing phase like general knowledge, quantitative and English language usage skills and is filtered for the final interview. The process ensures that by the end of the exercise the college owns only quality teachers in hand. "Teachers are allotted timetable, wherein they deliver lectures for a minimum of four hours as per university requirement and the remaining time is devoted to application and discussion on Real ï¿½Time- Cases," says Dr. Shikha Tiwari, Principal, T.John college.
Students in the 5th semester are required to take up projects with reputed organizations. Here, the institute enables the functional aspect of the theoretical knowledge. Students become more responsive towards their subjects when they are made to apply the concepts taught in the classroom in real time. The institute only allows its students to take up projects that are approved by an organization; freelance projects are not accepted. The clause ensures a genuine standard of learning experience for every student.
Industrial visits and guest lecturers are regularly held in the institute, where the students are encouraged to explore their subject matter with itsï¿½ practical implications, hence bridging the gap between academia and the industry. Management students have been undergoing training in reputed organizations such as TCS, ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential, Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Group, North Western, MetLife Insurance and many more. Most of the students that were involved with these organizations during their time in the college have been offered positions on completion of their training.
In order to prepare a student for their life after their graduation T. John offers job oriented value added courses in JAVA, advanced Excel, and communicative English. Certificate courses on all specialization papers like finance, HR and marketing are in the pipeline. Outbound team building and leadership activities are also organized annually and almost 50 percent of the costs of the visits are borne by the management which are added on to semester goals and reviewed on a monthly basis.
Providing the Right Tools for Growth
The management institute also provides opportunities to talented students to participate in all intercollegiate fests and sports meets. T. John ensures that its students are involved in various club activities to hone their skills outside the classroom as well, such as ï¿½ cultural club, music club, culinary club and literary club. NSS activity is also an integral part of the college. T. John also has well equipped rooms for indoor games and facility for lawn tennis, along with football, cricket and basketball courts.
T. John provides all the unique infrastructure assets and facilities, like LCD projectors equipped classes, business lab, computer lab with approximately 50 computers available per course. Seminar halls in the form of gallery rooms are available for lecture session and each student is provided with a laptop, as the campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
The college premise has been expanded to include new departments and blocks and is spread over an area of 20 acres of land. Such a huge premise, surrounded by lush greenery and full of space, enriches the student's concentration in studies along with all the other core functions.
In the near future the institute intends to offer more certificate courses to bridge the gap between industry and academia. The institute is also planning to provide its students with international exposure programs by organizing foreign industrial trips for them.
