The industry-institute collaboration is one of the key aspects required for the creation and growth of market related knowledge, to produce job ready graduates who are well trained and can cope up with the demands of the industry. Thousands of MBA students graduate every year from B-schools, in which half of the MBA students are not considered fit for the Industry by employers. The institutes aim at creating new knowledge and providing fundamental education to students, whereas industry focuses on application oriented knowledge which can be transformed into profits of business goals. The major challenge here is to transform their knowledge gathered in Institutions into an application which has industrial need. Universal Group of Institutions (UGI), set-up under the aegis of Universal Educational Society (UES), was established in 2009, by eminent academicians and educationists to provide quality education. The industry institute collaboration has significant influence on research & innovation, teaching & learning, employability and knowledge transfer on students. UGI is stepping up to the challenge to produce job-ready graduates. Inviting companies and industries in there campus and providing training to students, Universal Group of Institutions has always given augmentation and placements an utmost priority. To implement it an exclusive training, augmentation and placement assistance cell (T&P) has been established, headed by experienced professionals from Industry. UGI is providing assistance to the students for final placements in prominent companies by holding campus placements. It is note-worthy to mention that almost all the top notch MNC's- EESPL, ICICI Bank, One Planet Research, Star Web, Videocon, Clear Path, Fun Cinema, TATA Consultancy, Infosys, Dell, HP, Oracle, Bajaj, Standard Chartered, Mahindra, Idea, and Vodafone, have visited Universal Group of Institutions through TAP cell for placements of the students. Partnering with IIT Bombay as a RESOURCE CENTRE and contributing towards the national mission of making India IT literate and promotes the use of open source software UGI has designed Faculty Development Programme (FDP) to train and develop professionals in teaching profession so that they can act as resource persons in guiding and motivating the students and make them ready for job market.

As a leader in the domain of institutional management, he has also gained 7 years of experience in the field of distance education.
