CAT 2026 Correction Window Soon, Check Editable Fields

IIM Indore is set to open the CAT 2026 application correction window, allowing candidates to edit their photograph, signature and test-city preferences while personal and academic details remain locked.

The Indian Institute of Management Indore is expected to open the CAT 2026 application form correction window soon for candidates who have successfully registered for the Common Admission Test. The facility will allow applicants to make changes to a limited number of fields through the official CAT website, iimcat.ac.in.

CAT 2026 registration closed on September 22, 2026, at 5 pm, following an extension from the earlier September 15 deadline. IIM Indore has announced that a short editing facility will be provided after the registration process, but the correction window will not allow candidates to modify all information submitted in the application form.

CAT 2026 Correction Window: Editable Fields: Based on the information released for CAT 2026 and the previous correction process, candidates will be able to modify three key components of their applications: Photograph, Signature, Test city preferences.

Personal and academic information will remain locked during the correction period. Details such as the candidate's name, date of birth, registered email address, mobile number, category and academic qualifications are not expected to be editable through the correction facility.

The exact opening and closing dates for the CAT 2026 correction window have not yet been officially announced by IIM Indore. Some education portals have estimated that the facility could open in early October based on previous-year schedules, but candidates should rely on the official CAT portal for the confirmed dates.

How to Make CAT 2026 Corrections: Once the window becomes active, registered candidates can visit iimcat.ac.in and log in using their CAT credentials. They will need to access their submitted application, make changes only to the permitted fields and review the updated information before submitting the form.

The correction facility is intended for candidates who need to replace an incorrect or unsuitable photograph or signature or modify their preferred test-city choices. Candidates should complete permitted corrections within the specified period because the facility will remain available only for a limited duration.

The CAT 2026 examination is scheduled for November 29, 2026, while admit cards are scheduled to be available from November 4. The exam will be conducted in three sessions across designated test centres in India.
