IIM Kozhikode, Emeritus Launch General Management Programme

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has launched the General Management Programme for Business Excellence in partnership with Emeritus.

This 10-month program aims to equip professionals with strategic understanding, interdisciplinary skills, and preparedness for leadership roles.

Conducted via engaging live online sessions led by distinguished faculty from IIM Kozhikode, this programme features unique master classes on Generative AI, equipping participants with the practical resources needed to foster innovation and enhance decision-making.

This program targets early-career professionals looking to enhance their career opportunities by establishing a solid management foundation, facilitating seamless shifts between roles and sectors. It additionally serves mid-career professionals and budding managers aiming to enhance their leadership and strategic thinking to succeed in today’s rapidly changing corporate environment.

Furthermore, the programme’s practical, future-oriented approach will also aid entrepreneurs and small business owners aiming to implement innovative frameworks and modern business practices.

The General Management Programme for Business Excellence (GMPBE) provides an extensive and forward-thinking curriculum aimed at enhancing cross-functional skills, strategic insight, and operational expertise.

Combining academic rigor with practical relevance, the program addresses essential areas such as strategy, innovation, finance, operations, marketing, and leadership. Using an organized and cooperative learning approach, participants will partake in dialogue led by peers, enhance their critical thinking skills, and create practical business strategies.

The program consists of 11 modules addressing strategy, finance, marketing, operations, leadership, workforce management, digital innovation, business analytics, and design thinking. Furthermore, a practical capstone project involving real-world business simulations guarantees that learning translates into effective outcomes.

The program starts on September 28, 2025, and lasts for 10 months, including live online sessions and a three-day campus immersion at IIM Kozhikode. The course price is INR 2,48,500 along with GST.

Diploma holders or graduates with at least one year of professional experience can apply. After successfully finishing the programme with a minimum of 75% attendance, participants will receive a certificate from IIM Kozhikode and will be eligible for Executive Alumni Status.
