Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has opened the admission process for its Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) programme for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible candidates who appeared for NEET UG 2026 can register through the university’s admission portal until September 20, 2026.

Admission to the veterinary programme will be based on candidates’ NEET UG 2026 scores. BHU has scheduled three rounds of seat allocation for the programme. The first-round result is tentatively scheduled for September 28, followed by the second round on October 1 and the third round on October 5. If seats remain vacant after these rounds, the university will conduct a Mop-Up Round, with vacant seats expected to be displayed on the admission portal on October 14.

Candidates seeking admission must complete the process online through the official BHU admission portal. Applicants are required to access the B.V.Sc. & A.H. registration section, create or log into their account, provide the required personal and academic information, and complete the application before submission. Candidates should ensure that the information entered matches their NEET UG and academic records.

The admission schedule indicates that candidates selected through the allotment process will have to complete the required admission formalities before the commencement of classes. BHU has tentatively scheduled reporting and the start of the academic session for October 15, 2026. The university has also clarified that the exact number of seats available in the Mop-Up Round will be published dynamically on the admission portal before that round begins.
