Karnataka PG Dental Admissions 2026: Registration Opens

KEA opens registration for Karnataka PG Dental Admissions 2026 from August 14 to 17. NEET MDS 2026 qualification is mandatory, while candidates must meet Karnataka’s eligibility and reservation requirements.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the online registration process for Karnataka PG Dental Admissions 2026 for the 2026–27 academic session. Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate dental programmes across Karnataka can register through the official KEA admission portal. The registration process begins on August 14, 2026, at 11 am, while the deadline for submitting applications is August 17 at 11:59 pm. Candidates must complete the application fee payment by August 18 at 6 pm.

The admission process covers seats in government dental colleges, government quota seats in private and minority dental colleges, and private seats in private dental colleges across the state. Candidates are required to carefully follow the schedule issued by KEA and complete all stages of the admission process within the prescribed deadlines.

Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate dental courses must have qualified NEET MDS 2026 and meet the prescribed eligibility conditions. However, qualifying in NEET MDS does not automatically make a candidate eligible for every category of seat. Candidates must also satisfy the applicable Karnataka eligibility requirements, reservation provisions and seat-specific conditions.

Candidates who are not from Karnataka can participate in the admission process subject to the applicable eligibility requirements. However, they cannot claim reservation under Karnataka's reserved categories. Such candidates must satisfy the minimum qualifying standards applicable to the General category.

Document verification forms an important stage of the admission process. Candidates are required to keep their academic records, NEET MDS documents and category certificates ready as specified by KEA. Applicants seeking reservation benefits must ensure that their certificates comply with the prescribed requirements.

Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category are specifically advised to verify their internal reservation classification and RD number details before submitting their applications. Any discrepancy in the documents or information provided may affect eligibility during the admission process.

KEA advises applicants to carefully review the official admission notifications and information bulletin before completing registration. Candidates are also expected to ensure that all details entered in the application form are accurate and that the required documents are available for verification.

The Karnataka PG Dental admission process provides eligible NEET MDS candidates with an opportunity to secure postgraduate dental seats across government and private institutions in the state. With the registration window remaining open for only a few days, applicants are advised to complete their forms and fee payment within the specified deadlines to avoid missing the admission cycle.
