The registration process for NEET MDS 2026 has started which enables candidates to submit their online applications for dental postgraduate programs throughout India. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) manages the application process through its official website.
Candidates interested in pursuing Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses can submit their applications online within the specified timeline. The official schedule states that candidates can start registering for the exam from March 14, 2026, until the registration period ends on March 30, 2026.
The computerized Entrance Examination will take place at 2:00 PM on May 2, 2026. There will be only one session for this, which lasts three hours (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM). All BDS subjects will be tested during this examination. The distributor will provide the candidates with their admission cards on April 29, starting at 8:00 AM via the official website.
Candidates eligible to take the test, must possess an appropriately accredited BDS degree from an Indian university or institution, as well as have Registration to Practice in Dentistry with either a state dental council or the Dental Council of India.
They should have also completed (or will complete) a minimum of 12 months' compulsory rotating internship at an approved dental college or hospital prior to applying for the exam (i.e., if you will finish your rotation before the deadline listed in the official examination guide).
