MCC Revises AIQ Seat Matrix Ahead of NEET 2025 Round

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the cancellation of one MBBS seat from the All India Quota (AIQ) for the NEET UG 2025-26 Special Stray Vacancy Round.
The alteration occurs only days before a vital phase of the undergraduate medical counselling process, highlighting MCC’s commitment to transparency and precision in seat distribution.
According to the official announcement, the seat that was withdrawn belonged to the OP no category under AIQ and was allocated to the Government Medical College, Manjeri, located in Malappuram district, Kerala. This one seat is the only one impacted, and it will not be offered for selection or allocation in the Special Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates are recommended to verify the revised seat matrix on the MCC website.

The committee emphasized that the availability of seats could fluctuate according to real-time updates from the colleges involved, so candidates need to remain vigilant to not miss allocation chances. The Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing started on December 18, 2025, and will conclude on December 31, with seat allocation results anticipated on December 23. MCC requested that all candidates diligently adhere to official announcements during the entire process.
