MCC Revises NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Counselling; Registration Sept 4

  • Round 2 counselling runs from September 4 to 12, 2025.
  • Round 3 counselling takes place from September 24 to October 3, 2025.
  • The stray vacancy round is scheduled from October 13 to 25, 2025.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the revised timetable for NEET UG 2025 Round 2 counselling regarding admissions to undergraduate medical programs. Qualified candidates can take part in the counselling process by signing up on the official MCC website.

As per the updated schedule, the Round 2 seat matrix will be published on September 3, while registration and payment will be open from September 4 to 9.

Candidates can fill and lock their choices from September 5 to 9, and seat allotment will be processed on September 10 and 11. The Round 2 provisional result will be declared on September 12, followed by reporting from September 13 to 19.

For Round 3, the seat matrix will be released on September 23, with registration and fee payment scheduled from September 24 to 29. Choice filling and locking will also be held during the same period, and seat allotment will be processed between September 30 and October 2.

The Round 3 result will be announced on October 3, with reporting to the allotted institute from October 4 to 10. The stray vacancy round will begin with the release of the seat matrix on October 13, followed by registration from October 14 to 16 and choice filling from October 14 to 17. Seat allotment will be processed on October 17, results will be declared on October 18, and reporting and joining will take place from October 19 to 25.

The NEET UG counselling is held for securing admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical colleges and all seats in deemed and central universities. Admissions rely on the NEET UG 2025 ranking list.
