  • Round 2 seats are mandatory; no withdrawal after allotment.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has initiated the Round 2 counselling procedure for NEET PG 2025 within the All India Quota (AIQ). After Round 1 for medical and dental postgraduate positions concluded, registration, fee payment, and choice filling commenced. Candidates who meet the criteria and wish to take part in the second counselling round can go to the website to register and submit their application.

Registration and payment of fees will occur from December 5 to 9, 2025, with choice selection happening from December 6 to 9, 2025. Candidates have the option to finalize their selections until December 9, 2025. The results for Round 2 will be revealed on December 12, 2025, and chosen candidates are required to join their designated colleges from December 13 to 21, 2025.

Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 may re-register and select new choices for Round 2. Individuals who were granted a Round 1 seat but want to upgrade must re-register, maintaining compliance with the Round 1 seat-retention regulations. Candidates who failed to report after their Round 1 allotment can still take part in Round 2, as long as they adhere to the MCC’s seat forfeiture rules. Only candidates who qualify for NEET PG 2025 can participate in AIQ Round 2 counselling, and according to MCC regulations, those assigned a seat in Round 2 will not be allowed to withdraw once the round is finished.
