As a result, the overall MBBS capacity in government medical colleges within the Union Territory has increased from 1,185 to 1,375 seats.
This prompt improvement will greatly expand prospects for aspiring medical students in Jammu and Kashmir, lessen competition pressure, and aid in the long-term fortification of the healthcare delivery system by generating a greater number of trained physicians, the spokesperson stated.
