TN NEET PG 2025 Counselling Ends Today, Apply by 5 PM
- Registration closes today at 5 PM on tnmedicalselection.net.
- Fees: ₹3,000 application + ₹1,000 registration; SC/ST exempt.
- Security deposit ranges from ₹30,000 to ₹2 lakh, refundable.
The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME) will end the registration period for NEET PG counselling 2025 today, September 16, at 5 pm. Qualified applicants can submit their applications on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net
Candidates must submit an application fee of Rs 3,000 and a registration fee of Rs 1,000 to take part in the counselling process. Applicants from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) groups in Tamil Nadu do not have to pay the application fee.
The DME will soon reveal the schedule for counselling, merit list, choice filling, and seat allocation. For security deposits, applicants must pay Rs 30,000 for seats in Government Medical Colleges, Rs 1 lakh for government quota seats in self-financing institutions, and Rs 2 lakh for management quota seats. The security deposit will be returned within three months if a candidate fails to obtain a seat.

According to the bond policy, individuals hired by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) or Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB), and assigned to Tamil Nadu Medical Services, must have finished a minimum of two years of service by March 31, 2025. Individuals serving in local organizations must equally meet the same criteria.
Candidates terminating courses after the resignation deadline must pay a fine of Rs 15 lakh for degree programs and Rs 10 lakh for PG diploma courses. The payment should be made through a demand draft payable to “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai–10.”
