SBI Launches Scholarship Up to 20 Lakh, Apply by Nov 15

• SBI launches Rs 90 Cr scholarship for 23,230 underprivileged students.

The State Bank of India (SBI) has initiated the 'Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025' via its CSR engagement arm SBI Foundation, to aid 23,230 deserving students from under privileged backgrounds, as a part of its 75th Anniversary activities.

This program, which has been allocated funds of Rs 90 crore for FY26, will provide each student with annual financial assistance of Rs 15,000 to Rs 20 lakh until the completion of their course, for education from Class 9 to post-graduation. Candidates can apply for this scholarship upto November 15, 2025, at the website sbiashascholarship.co.in.

Through this scholarship program, we will assist 23,230 of India’s brightest young minds from modest socioeconomic backgrounds to pursue their dreams and realise their full potential. In fact, ultimately, the programme aims to provide scholars with empowerment to contribute to Viksit Bharat 2047, while building a strong ecosystem for academic success.

For eligibility, applicants must be Indian citizens with not less than 75% marks or 7.0 CGPA in the previous year, and a family income of not less than Rs 3 lakh for school students, and Rs. 6 Lakhs for college students.

Categories for eligible students include:  school students (Class 9–12), students from IIT/IIM, medical students, undergraduate/postgraduate students from the top 300 institutes in NIRF or NAAC 'A' rated institute, students intending to study abroad, and SC/ST students pursuing a master’s or higher in schools outside India. Necessary documents consist of marksheets, ID verification, receipts of payment, bank information, proof of income, proof of admission, a photo, and a caste certificate.

- Choose Study Level: Select "Apply Now" for your level (Class 9–12, UG, PG, etc.).

- Register/Login: Use mobile number or Gmail ID to create/login to your profile.

- Complete Form: Fill details, upload documents (marksheet, ID, fee receipt, bank details, income proof, admission proof, photo, caste certificate if applicable).

- Submit: Review and submit by November 15, 2025.
