SIMSR is a dedicated Ph.D. research center for the University of Mumbai, SNDT Women’s University and Shobhit University. Contemporary with the research activities carried on in the area of management in these centers, the institute encourages faculty members and students to partake in research projects, case study developments and industry-oriented research projects in association with other faculty members.

Dr. Tandon Kamal, Director/Professor

Dr. Tandon holds a Doctorate degree in Management from IIEST Shibpur and has a total of 30 years of industry and academia experience. He is a member of various professional and government bodies like the University Approval Committee(Government of Maharashtra), Bombay Management Association and Indian Merchant Chamber and Rotary Club. Dr. Tandon is a Board Member in two management institutes.
