According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020, in the top 200 rankings, 11 Australian universities have claimed its place and two of the Australian institutions have made its way to the top 50 list. Australia is emerging as one of the leading countries for quality education with over 43 universities across the country. Most importantly, the colleges and universities in Australia are more appealing in terms of technology and innovation as they emphasis more on scientific research. The Government of Australia has established its independent national quality assurance and regulatory agency for higher education called the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). In order to protect and maintain the reputation of Higher Education in Australia, also to safeguard the national and international students’ interest the government have launched TEQSA in 2008. For the students who are interested to study in a country that is globally acclaimed, Australia is the place. Also, because of the diverse culture and best quality education, Australia is the most opted country for higher education by the international students.
