IIM Mumbai Opens Admissions for General Management Programme

- IIM Mumbai launches a 35-seat general management programme for mid-level managers starting April 2026.

The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has officially opened admissions for its Post Graduate Diploma for Executive Leadership in Manufacturing, a general management programme tailored to mid-level professionals. With only 35 seats available, the deadline to apply is November 29, 2025, and the new cohort is scheduled to begin in mid-April 2026. The fee for the programme is ₹16, 32,000.
Designed for managers with four to ten years of work experience, the course aims to bridge hands-on operational roles with strategic leadership responsibilities. It is open to individuals across various disciplines who aspire to deepen their cross-functional influence and develop broader leadership capabilities. The programme, overseen by Professor Ravindra Gokhale at IIM Mumbai, will be conducted in a fully on-campus, offline format over five contact days.
IIM Mumbai’s pedagogical approach emphasizes practical, immersive learning. Participants will engage in interactive lectures, case-study discussions, group activities, role-playing, and management games. This variety ensures that learning are not just theoretical participants can immediately apply strategic and problem-solving frameworks to real organizational contexts, thereby sharpening their leadership acumen.

To apply, interested candidates must fill out an online application through the IIM Mumbai admissions portal. Once applications are shortlisted, eligible candidates will be invited to participate in the institute’s selection process.
