IIT Bombay Offers 6-Month AI/ML Supply Chain Analytics Course
- IIT Bombay and Great Learning introduce a 6-month AI/ML supply chain analytics certificate.

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has, through its Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR), announced a six-month Certificate in Supply Chain Analytics with AI & ML Applications that will start in October 2025.
The program is offered in conjunction with ed tech provider Great Learning, and now accepting applications from graduates with a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Geared toward professionals in the workforce—supply chain managers, logistics specialists, consultants, and data analysts—the program is composed of five modules leveraged by IIT Bombay faculty. The modules include data-driven supply chain analytics, demand forecasting and planning, data-driven inventory models, Network Design & Optimization, and transportation & risk analysis.

The substantive focus is on hands-on data-driven learning using tools studied in the courses. The curriculum emphasizes using real-world case studies involving advanced inventory frameworks, incorporating machine learning and generative AI for forecasting capabilities and scenario planning.
The course is taught through weekly live sessions online, specially designed for working professionals seeking to incorporate AI-based approaches to decision-making in supply chain settings.
