6 Executive Courses offered by IIT Madras

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is introducing a series of certificate courses for executives from October to November 2026, covering various fields including electric vehicles, manufacturing, construction technology, and ESG and supply chain management.

The courses were developed by the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) of the institute and are targeted at both professionals and learners who are interested in acquiring the skills needed to respond to the evolving needs of industry and the job market.

The upcoming offerings also feature a broadening of IIT Madras' executive education offerings beyond its engineering and technology centric offerings, including offerings in the business and sustainability-related areas.

All these programs of executive education will be provided by the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) of IIT.

Candidates can register for these courses through the official portal of CODE at code.iitm.ac.in and the registration process has already begun at IIT Madras with the payment of enrolment fees.

The upcoming executive education course cohorts include:

Certificate Program on Electric Vehicles (CPEV)

This is a short-term executive certificate programme being offered on electric vehicles (EVs) by the CODE at IIT Madras in collaboration with industry experts.

The basic theory will be taught in areas of technical application (batteries, motors, power electronics, EMI or EMC, market, cost and industry specific applications such as vehicle engineering and vehicle development).

The CPEV is intended for working professionals who are looking to have basic exposure and awareness in the electric vehicle industry, according to the institute. The participants can also opt in to enroll in a lab session in addition to the theory modules.
