IIIT-B Opens Admissions for BTech, Integrated MTech

The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-B) has opened applications for admission to its BTech and Integrated MTech programmes for the 2026–27 academic sessions. The institute aims to expand opportunities for students seeking advanced education in computer science, electronics, data science, and emerging technology disciplines.
According to the institute, admissions will be conducted through multiple entry pathways, including JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and Olympiad-based selection criteria. The move is intended to attract high-performing students with strong academic and analytical capabilities from across the country.
IIIT-B stated that the programmes are designed to provide students with industry-oriented technical education combined with strong research exposure. The curriculum focuses on emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, embedded systems, and data engineering, aligning with the evolving requirements of the technology sector.

The four-year BTech programme offers specialisations in Computer Science and Engineering as well as Electronics and Communication Engineering. Institute officials highlighted that the programmes place significant emphasis on innovation, practical learning, and industry collaboration. Students will gain access to research laboratories, startup incubation support, and partnerships with technology companies to strengthen real-world problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial development.
IIIT-B also noted that students admitted through Olympiad-based pathways will receive recognition for exceptional academic performance in national and international competitive platforms.
