IIT Jodhpur Extends MBA Admission 2026 Deadline

The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) has announced an extension of the deadline for application submissions to its MBA programme for the academic year 2026, 28. Applicants can now submit their forms online till 31st March 2026.
The extension allows candidates to take advantage of the full, time, two, year residential MBA programme conducted by the School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME) at IIT Jodhpur. The MBA course intends to combine strong technical skills with up, to, date management knowledge.
It focuses on interdisciplinary learning, innovation, entrepreneurship, data, driven decision, making, and sustainability. Students will undergo the basics of management through core courses, have advanced electives, work on industry projects, and do a summer internship which is compulsory.
Besides the standard curriculum, students will be able to specialize in the emerging fields like AI & Data Science for Business, FinTech, Digital Transformation, Operations & Supply Chain Analytics, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.

The eligibility criteria for applicants stipulate that they must possess a bachelor's degree of at least three years duration in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) and have a valid CAT 2025 score obtained in November 2025. Work experience, though not obligatory, is taken into account during the shortlisting phase.
The admission process starts with shortlisting based on CAT score, academic credentials, relevant work experience (if any), and diversity aspects, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) that may be conducted either online or offline for the shortlisted candidates. The final admission decision is made on the basis of a composite score comprising CAT score, PI performance, educational qualification, work experience, and diversity considerations.
The application fee is 1, 000 for General, OBC, NCL, and EWS candidates whereas for SC/ST/PwD candidates the fee is 500. Applications should be submitted online through the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur official portal at official website.
IIT Jodhpur pointed out that the extension is mainly to allow aspirants more flexibility, especially those who are preparing for or awaiting CAT results and related processes. The institute is calling for applications from a variety of backgrounds in order to have a diverse and inclusive learning community that is vibrant and focused on solving real, world business and societal challenges through technology and management.
