IIT Mandi Opens Applications for Winter Skill-Enrichment Courses

- IIT Mandi launches winter short-term technical certificate courses in December 2025.
- Programs offer hands-on training across electric vehicles, deep learning, and optics.
- Courses strengthen practical skills and award certificates upon successful completion.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has begun enrollment for a series of short-term certificate programs to be held during the Winter Break 2025. The courses, provided by the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), will take place on campus starting in the second week of December.
The institute states that the courses target students, researchers, educators, and professionals seeking to gain hands-on experience in particular technical fields. Participants must be present for on-campus sessions and participate in practical activities as part of the course requirements.
CCE has announced three brief courses for the upcoming winter term:
Electric and Hybrid Vehicles - The course includes the basics of electric transportation, vehicle mechanisms, hybrid parts, and battery technology.
Statistical Data Analysis and Deep Learning 2.0 - This module covers training in machine learning principles, neural networks, and various deep learning tools.
Advanced Optical Diagnostic Techniques - This course emphasizes optical devices, laser-assisted diagnostic approaches, and fundamental applications of spectroscopy.
