NTA Releases GAT-B, BET Admit Cards Online
Synopsis: National Testing Agency releases admit cards for GAT-B and BET 2026 examinations scheduled on May 18, allowing candidates to download hall tickets through the official examination portal.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) and the Biotechnology Eligibility Test 2026. Candidates appearing for the examinations can now download their hall tickets from the official NTA examinations portal using their application number and date of birth credentials.
According to the notification, the entrance examinations are scheduled to be conducted in computer-based test mode on May 18, 2026, across designated centres in multiple cities. The GAT-B examination is conducted for admission to postgraduate biotechnology and allied life sciences programmes in participating institutions, while BET serves as a national eligibility test for DBT-Junior Research Fellowship awards.
Candidates have been advised to carefully verify details mentioned on their admit cards, including examination centre address, reporting time, roll number, and personal information. NTA stated that applicants must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to gain entry into the examination centre.

The agency also instructed candidates to follow examination-day guidelines related to reporting time, prohibited items, and identity verification procedures. Electronic gadgets, calculators, study material, and communication devices will not be permitted inside examination halls.
GAT-B is considered one of India’s key biotechnology entrance examinations, offering admission opportunities in premier universities and research institutions supported by the Department of Biotechnology. Meanwhile, BET qualification enables candidates to receive fellowships for pursuing doctoral research in biotechnology and related fields.
Students have been encouraged to download their hall tickets well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues and regularly monitor the official NTA website for updates related to examination schedules and instructions.
