For mutual benefit of academia and the students, CIPS have established 18 MOUs and collaboration with Government General Hospital, Biophore Pharmaceuticals coupled with an exclusive association with International University, Eastern Shore Maryland University for student and faculty exchange programme. Whether it is academic or extracurricular activities, the institute has bagged several achievements, including 24 Prathiba awards received by students from Government of AP, 2 Prof. M.L. Khorana awards, 19 state level, 15 international and 5 university-level awards by the students and faculty were received and many more.

Affiliated permanently to ANU, recognized by UGC Under section 2(f) & 12B and Department of Science and Industrial Research for research activities, the institute has been offering a array of courses viz. 4 years B. Pharmacy degree, 2 years M. Pharmacy degree in 5 specializations, 6 years Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), and 3 years' Post Baccalaureate course. "Students are enrolled into our college through centralized counseling conducted by State Government of Andhra Pradesh by AP EAMCET exam. After admission we conduct orientation classes for one week to make the freshers adaptable to our institute's rules and regulations along with providing basic knowledge on pharmacy subjects and career opportunities," claims Prof. Nadendla.

Satisfying appropriately the thrust of the students for an effective teaching-learning experience, CIPS campus is nestled in the premises of Chalapathi Educational Society, which was inaugurated by Sri. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, Chief Minister of AP, incorporating exceptional infrastructural facilities. "The campus has been decorated with IPA-Lam Branch, ISPOR-ANU student chapter, ISPOR-Amaravathi Regional Chapter, Jan Aushadi and APSSDC skill development centre. Students also get access to 22 laboratories recognized by DSIR equipped with advanced technology and equipment in the campus," pinpoints Prof. Nadendla. Additionally, CIPS also encompassed Central Instrumentation Room, well -
stocked library, Pilot Plant, Medicinal Plant Garden, Drug Museum, Computer cum Language Laboratory, CPCSEA approved Animal House, to name a few, in the campus.
"The faculty of our institution concentrates more in the aspect of the teaching-learning process and adopts many innovative teaching methods in the form of innovative teaching methodology, flipped classes, video lectures, quality enhancement of teaching through interdisciplinary lectures, supportive classes and many more," proudly says Prof. Nadendla. Along with motivating the students to undertake research activities, providing seed money to deserved one and undergoing internships and industry visits, the institute also conducts Heartfulness Meditation programme which serves for the overall personality development of the student. Prof. Nadendla adds, "The students of final year B. Pharmacy are facilitated with additional training for competitive examinations since 2008 enabling to pursue higher studies". Further, the students are motivated to involve in group discussions, quizzes, student seminars, assignments, guest lectures, workshops, e-poster competitions and so on.

"75 to 80 percent of our students are placed in reputed establishments today and rests of them are pursuing higher studies in renowned national and international universities," states Prof. Nadendla.
