The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has opened the application process for the School Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 4.0) 2026, inviting applications for 32,388 teacher vacancies under the Bihar Education Department. The registration process begins on September 21, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications online until September 30.

The recruitment drive covers teaching positions across multiple school levels. The vacancies include 3,847 posts for Classes 1 to 5, 8,563 posts for Classes 6 to 8, 3,877 posts for Classes 9 to 10, and 16,101 posts for Classes 11 to 12. The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. 14/2026.

Candidates can apply online through the official BPSC website. Applicants need to complete the registration process, log in using their credentials, enter their personal and educational details, upload the required documents and certificates, and pay the prescribed application fee before submitting the form.

The application fee is ₹100. According to the current schedule, candidates must complete fee payment by September 29, while the final date for submitting the application is September 30, 2026. After completing the process, applicants should download and retain a copy of the submitted application and payment receipt for future reference.

Eligibility requirements vary according to the teaching level and subject for which candidates apply. Applicants are required to meet the prescribed educational and teacher-training qualifications applicable to their respective posts.
