ICAI Launches 65th Placement Drive With 5,300+ Vacancies

The ICAI announces its 65th Campus Placement Programme for newly qualified Chartered Accountants, featuring over 5,300 vacancies across 29 centres, with interviews scheduled in two phases during August and September.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is organizing its 65th Campus Placement Programme, in which there will be more than 5,300 vacancies available at 29 interview centres spread across the country, for newly qualified Chartered Accountants. The drive for recruiting begins from 3rd August 2026, which will enable newly qualified CAs to meet potential recruiters through their placement programme.

The placement program is mainly available to the aspirants who pass the CA Final exam conducted in May 2026. As per the records of the ICAI, 7,931 aspirants pass the examination out of which 6,399 enroll themselves in the campus placement program. In the very first phase, 78 organizations confirm their participation in this program by providing 5,339 openings.

Interviews will be conducted in two phases in the months of August and September 2026. The first phase of interviews will start in Delhi from August 3rd to 7th, followed by Mumbai and Pune from August 4th to 8th, Kolkata from August 5th to 10th, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Chennai from August 10th to 14th, and Hyderabad and Jaipur from August 11th to 17th. The second phase of interviews will be held from September 21st to 25th in centers such as Noida, Thane, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Indore, and Visakhapatnam.

The recruitment drive has recruiters joining from fields like finance, audit, tax, consulting, banking, manufacturing, analytics, risk management, and IT. According to ICAI, the program ensures that there is an opportunity for the employers to have access to a skilled pool of talents and for the candidates to start off their career with reputed organizations in India.

The current placement drive is based on the achievements of the 64th Campus Placement Program where there are 183 organizations participating and offering 2,570 job positions. In the previous program, the highest annual salary package is of ₹27.5 lakh, whereas the average package is of ₹13 lakh. Given that more than 80% of the CA Final pass outs have registered for the current drive and thousands of vacancies have been offered, the 65th Campus Placement Program will emerge as one of the largest recruitment drives by ICAI.
