AAI Recruitment 2026 Opens for 389 Posts, Apply Now

Synopsis: The Airports Authority of India has invited applications for 389 Manager and Junior Executive posts across multiple disciplines. Online registration begins on August 8 and closes on September 7, 2026.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has announced the Recruitment Notification 2026 for 389 positions of Managers and Junior Executives. These openings include the post of managers as well as junior executives, which require engineers, financial experts, lawyers, management professionals, and other such professionals to apply to become a part of one of the biggest public sector companies in India. Online applications will be accepted from August 8, 2026, till September 7, 2026.

As per the official notice, the recruitment is comprised of 260 posts of Manager and 129 posts of Junior Executive in streams like Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Architecture, Law, Fire Services, Operations, Commercial, Corporate Planning, Corporate Communications, and Survey & Cartography. Although most posts of Manager have the need for appropriate professional experience, some posts of Junior Executive are available for freshers.

The eligible applicants need to make their applications via the official portal of recruitment by AAI within the stipulated time frame. The applicants are encouraged to go through the education qualification, age criteria, and work experience criteria, as well as post-wise eligibility conditions before filling the application form. Reservation and age relaxation criteria have also been mentioned in the notification.

Selection process will mainly consist of Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by application verification and further tests based on the post. Posts at Manager Level would have an interview apart from other processes mentioned. Candidates who have applied for Manager Fire Services would undergo Personal Interview, Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test and Physical Endurance Tests apart from document verification.

Those who belong to the categories of General, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and EWS should pay an application fee of ₹1,000 including GST. But those who belong to the category of SC, ST, PwBD, females, and those who have successfully completed one year of Apprenticeship Training at AAI will not have to pay any application fee.

According to AAI, the hiring campaign would be geared towards reinforcing the agency’s manpower in technical, operational, financial, legal, and administrative terms amid continued expansion and modernization of civil aviation infrastructure in India. The body is responsible for managing airports and providing air navigation services throughout the country.
