Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2026 Opens

The Indian Navy has finally started the process of receiving applications for the Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer Recruitment 2026, where interested candidates can apply for the January 2027 course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), located at Ezhimala, Kerala.
This recruitment process provides a huge opportunity for young graduates to join the naval forces as an officer, as a total of 260 vacancies are available.
Online applications for this position can be made through joinindiannavy.gov.in Official Portal. Applications began on 24th January, 2026, and will be accepted until 24nd February, 2026.

Eligible applicants must fulfill certain age and educational requirements. Applicants must be born between 2 July 2002 and 1 July 2008 (inclusive) and must have the required degrees corresponding to the applied for branch, with engineering graduates being eligible for technical posts.
Candidates for the officers' position will be shortlisted according to their merit, followed by interviews and medicals at the SSB.
