Tata Power-DDL, BSPHCL Partner to Train Engineers

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) has initiated a partnership with Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL) to establish a joint training programme for engineers, which represents the start of a five-year collaboration to leverage intellectual resources and infrastructure by both organisations for a variety of developmental initiatives, the company said.

The programme is aimed at further enhancing the skills and capabilities of professionals at all levels. It will involve the development of training programmes centred on management and leadership development, strategic management, and innovation and creativity, plus increased engagement with Corporate Social Responsibility for senior and mid-level executives of both organisations.

The engineer training programme is focused on skill development in the power sector. This initiative aims to strengthen workforce development, enhance expertise in renewable energy, and drive overall growth in the industry.

Through the integration of both organisations’ experience and knowledge, the various programmes will provide real learning and development outcomes while highlighting current and future expectations across the power sector.

Praveen Agrawal of Tata Power-DDL stated, "This partnership is a step towards shaping the future of India's power sector. Major components of the training will focus on sophisticated power distribution operations and modern technologies, safety compliance, and the enhancement of customer service. Tata Power-DDL and BSPHCL seek to elevate workforce competency, enable knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

The initiative represents both organizations' aspirations to develop a skilled and future-ready workforce that will encourage innovation, productivity, and sustainable growth of India's energy sector over the next five years.
