National Law University Delhi announces the AILET 2027 schedule, with registrations opening on August 7 and the entrance examination set for December 13. The university also outlines key details regarding the admission process and exam pattern.

National Law University (NLU) Delhi reveals the dates for All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2027 where the online registration procedure will start from August 7, 2026. The date of the entrance test is December 13, 2026, at 2 pm to 4 pm for the admission of candidates into NLU's various law courses of 2027-28.

According to the official circular of the university, students can apply for admission through the online portal of NLU Delhi when the window for admission becomes open. For students who wish to seek admission to the five-year B.A. LLB (Honours), LLM and PhD courses, it is recommended that they keep checking the official site of the University for Admission Details.

The reason stated by the university is that AILET still remains the sole entrance examination to gain entry into NLU Delhi, unlike other National Law Universities where the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted to admit the candidates. Although both these tests are considered gateways to law, yet AILET is conducted by NLU Delhi itself.

The test is expected to take place through an offline mode at selected centers all over the country. Students will be expected to undergo the entire process of applying online, uploading relevant documents, and making the payment of the required examination fee within the stipulated period of time. The university is expected to provide further details in relation to the process of application fees, reservation, and admission schedule soon enough after the start of the application process.
