VNRVJIET is a leading private engineering institution, established in 1995-96 by the Vignana Jyothi Society as a not-for-profit initiative. Approved by AICTE and the Government of (erstwhile) Andhra Pradesh, it was granted autonomous status by the UGC for ten years, starting from 2018-19. It holds recognition under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, ensuring strong regulatory credibility. The institute is accredited with an ‘A++’ Grade by NAAC, having achieved a CGPA of 3.68 out of 4.0 in its latest third cycle. In the NIRF 2025, VNRVJIET ranks within the 151-200 band among engineering institutions nationally. Additionally, the institute has earned the QS i-Gauge Diamond Overall Rating in recent cycles and possesses E-Lead and ISO 21001:2018 certifications for educational excellence.
