Anthropic Opens Claude Campus Program Applications for Students

Anthropic opens applications for its Claude Campus Ambassador Programme, offering selected students a USD 3,600 stipend and opportunities to lead AI initiatives, organise events and promote responsible AI on campus.

Anthropic, the organization responsible for Claude, has opened up applications for its Claude Campus Ambassador Programme, which allows students from across the world to join artificial intelligence programs that are being led by students for the 2026-27 academic years. The program will give selected ambassadors the chance to create AI communities on their campuses.

The program spans the period from September 2026 to June 2027 and aims at students who are fascinated by AI, community building, and technology-based programs. According to Anthropic, anyone in the world can apply to the program, but the pool of candidates for the graduate and PhD program might be restricted only to certain universities at the beginning stage. Applicants need to be at least 18 years old and should have authorization to work in their countries.

Campus ambassadors selected for this program are given the opportunity to become students who will play a leadership role in increasing awareness about Claude among their fellow students. Some of the responsibilities of these ambassadors include organizing campus events, hosting discussions regarding AI, and conducting demonstrations.

Moreover, the initiative helps ambassadors connect with students, researchers, professors, and other members of their institutions. With such connections, participants will be able to foster conversations regarding the applications of AI while ensuring that the technology is used in a safe and responsible manner.

Among other key advantages of the program is the financial incentive. Every campus ambassador chosen by the program gets an allowance of USD 3,600. In addition, the company Anthropic assures that there is no cost of application for the program.

Claude Campus Ambassador Program is one of the many steps taken by Anthropic towards establishing student communities in relation to AI and encouraging the young generation to learn more about the technology. This program integrates leadership, community building, and funding in order to offer an opportunity for the students to master skills related to AI.
