AP POLYCET Counselling 2026 Registration Begins Today

The Department of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh starts the AP POLYCET 2026 counselling round for candidates who are trying to get admission into diploma programmes in both government and private polytechnic institutions spread across the whole state. First, this counselling phase lets eligible candidates finish the procedure through online registration, certificate checking, and option entry using the web platform, kind of step by step but not too strict, you know.

Candidates who cleared the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2026 can take part in the counselling on the official portal. This admission workflow is for the 2026-27 academic session and it basically decides seat allocation by looking at candidates’ ranks, category eligibility, preference order and of course how many seats are actually available in the participating colleges.

The counselling timeline starts with online registration, fee payment, and certificate verification. Applicants must complete the registration between June 24 and June 30. After that, certificate verification at help centres is scheduled from June 25 to July 1, especially for candidates who need extra verification or want to fix some details.

After verification, eligible candidates can enter their preferred colleges and diploma courses through the web option entry process from June 29 to July 3. Students are also provided an opportunity to modify their selected options on July 4 before the final allotment process begins.

The seat allotment results for AP POLYCET 2026 are scheduled to be announced on July 6. Candidates who receive seats must complete self-reporting and report to their allotted colleges between July 7 and July 10 to confirm admission.

Applicants are advised to keep the necessary documents ready, like the AP POLYCET hall ticket, rank card, Aadhaar card, SSC marks memo, study certificates, and other related certificates that will be needed during the verification stage. Special category candidates, i mean those applying under NCC , sports, CAP, PwD and also other similar categories have to submit the supporting documents too, as required. 

Admissions will be decided based on merit , reservation rules, the candidate preferences, and how many seats are available at that time. The counselling process kind of gives students a real chance to secure seats in diploma programmes across Andhra Pradesh’s polytechnic colleges.
