CAT 2025 registration to close on September 13, exam on Nov

The registration for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2025) at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) will end in six days. Candidates can complete the CAT application form 2025 on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

The date for the CAT exam in 2025 and the eligibility requirements were disclosed along with the information bulletin. According to the timetable released by the institute, the CAT exam is set to take place on November 30 in three sessions.

All 21 IIMs in India utilize CAT scores for enrollment in MBA and postgraduate management programs (PGP). However, securing a pass in the national-level MBA entrance exam by itself does not ensure acceptance. Candidates who qualify in the CAT will be selected for a personal interview (PI) and a written ability test (WAT), based on the selection procedure used by the specific IIM.

Furthermore, the final selection will also take into account candidates' academic achievements from Class 10 through their bachelor’s degree, along with their work experience. Diversity in academia and gender are crucial elements that influence eligibility. To summarize, the criteria for admission differ among various IIMs. More than 1,000 B-schools in the country also accept CAT scores.

The IIM CAT 2025 examination paper will include quantitative ability (QA), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), along with verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC). The test will take place for a period of 120 minutes, with an extra 40 minutes allocated for PwD candidates.

The application period will start on August 1, and applicants can sign up until September 13 (by 5 pm). The admit card for CAT 2025 will be issued on November 5, with the examination set for November 30. The result of the CAT 2025 is anticipated to be announced during the initial week of January.
