CAT 2026 Application Correction Window Opens October 5

CAT 2026 application correction window opens on October 5, allowing registered candidates to edit their photograph, signature and test city preferences until October 6.

The application correction window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 is scheduled to open on October 5, providing registered candidates an opportunity to make changes to selected details in their submitted forms. The facility will be available through the official CAT website after the completion of the registration process.

The correction window will open at 10 AM on October 5, 2026, and remain available until 5 PM on October 6, 2026. Only candidates who have successfully registered for CAT 2026 and paid the applicable registration fee will be eligible to use the facility.

Candidates will be permitted to edit only specific fields in their applications. These include the photograph, signature, and test city preferences. Personal and academic information submitted in the application form will remain locked and cannot be modified during the correction period.

The correction facility is intended to allow candidates to rectify eligible details before the examination. Applicants are advised to review their information carefully and complete any permitted changes within the specified timeframe, as no further extension is expected after the deadline.

The CAT 2026 registration process has already concluded. The examination is scheduled to be conducted by IIM Indore on November 29, 2026, across three sessions. The morning session will be held from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the afternoon session from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and the evening session from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

The CAT is conducted for admission to management programmes at the Indian Institutes of Management and is also accepted by several other participating management institutions. The examination comprises sections covering Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).

According to the announced schedule, the CAT 2026 admit cards will be released on November 4, while the results are expected to be announced in the first week of January 2027. Candidates who have completed registration should use the correction window to verify and update the permitted fields before it closes.
