The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has launched the registration period for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) for the June 2026 session. Qualified applicants can submit their applications online via the official website.
According to the official timetable, the final date for registration is February 15, 2026. Registration without a late fee will be permitted from March 1 to April 7, 2026, whereas registration with a late fee will be available from April 8 to April 20, 2026. The CSEET exam for June 2026 will take place in a center-based format from June 1 to June 4, 2026. The entrance examination takes place three times annually- in February, June, and October.
Students taking class XII, individuals who have completed class XII or an equivalent exam, and undergraduate students from accredited institutions can register for CSEET. ICSI has also mentioned that the qualification of Company Secretary is acknowledged by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as comparable to a master's degree. Candidates who pass the CSEET will qualify to enroll in the Executive Programme, subsequently followed by the Professional Programme, along with the required training modules and membership criteria.

Candidates should pay the required fees while registering. The registration cost is Rs 7,500, and the examination cost is Rs 1,500, both to be paid online via the official website. ICSI has specified that the CSEET score remains valid for three years, and candidates who pass the exam are required to finish the compulsory Student Induction Programme.
The CSEET consists of four objective-type examinations, each worth 100 marks: Business Communication; Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning; Economic and Business Environment; and Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude.
