IIM Lucknow PGPWE 2027 Applications Open

IIM Lucknow opens applications for its PGPWE 2027 programme, with the first application deadline set for October 15, 2026. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of full-time work experience.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has opened applications for the 2027 intake of its Post Graduate Programme for Working Executives (PGPWE). Interested candidates can apply online, with the first application deadline scheduled for October 15, 2026. The institute has also listed a second application deadline of December 31, 2026, on its official application portal.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, obtained through at least three or four years of formal education, with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent cumulative grade point average (CGPA). Candidates must also have at least three years of full-time professional work experience after graduation as of March 31, 2027. Freelance assignments, training and project work completed as part of academic requirements will not count towards the experience criterion.

Candidates can meet the examination requirement through a valid score in any one of the accepted tests: GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE or the PGPWE entrance examination. IIM Lucknow accepts CAT scores from 2024 and 2025 and GATE scores from 2025 and 2026. Applicants using GMAT or GRE scores must ensure their scores remain valid until the application deadline.

The PGPWE entrance examination is tentatively scheduled for November 2026, according to NDTV, while the institute’s official application page lists December 2026. Candidates should check the latest official admission notice for the confirmed examination date. The test will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 120 minutes, covering Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).

The application fee is ₹1,000 and is non-refundable. Applicants must upload the required academic records, work experience documents, examination scores, and other applicable certificates. The institute cautions that submitted application forms cannot be edited, so candidates should carefully review all details before final submission. Applications are accepted online through the official IIM Lucknow website.
