Phase I web options entry process has been started by Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) for counselling of TG PGECET 2026, which will allow the candidates to choose their choice of colleges and PG programs. The candidates, who had completed the process of registration and certificate verification process, can now do web option entry from counselling website.
This feature will enable the aspirants to prioritize the institutions and courses in which they would want to get admitted in the programs like M.E., M.Tech. M.Arch. M.Pharmacy and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate). Admission will be made on the basis of the ranks of the candidates in the TG PGECET or GATE, whichever is applicable to them.

As per the new counseling timetable, candidates have the chance to forward their web options in the allocated time period, and they will also get the facility of changing or reorganizing their options prior to the completion of the option submission process. According to TGCHE, candidates should go through their options carefully since seat allocation will be done according to the last forwarded options and candidate rank.
It is anticipated that the seat allotment announcement for Phase I would be made on July 26, 2026. The students allotted seats need to download the allotment order, report to the respective institutions within the stipulated period, produce the required documentation, and pay the admission fees. Failure to report in time means the cancellation of the seat allotment.
Candidates have been told by TGCHE to get all relevant academic and personal documents ready for their admission process. Candidates should also keep themselves informed about their options and allotment through the official counseling website, as well as any further counselling rounds.
