FMGE October 2026 Registration Starts September 11

NBEMS announces the FMGE October 2026 schedule, with registration opening on September 11 at 5 pm and closing on September 25. The screening test is conducted on October 31 in computer-based mode.

Notice of Date of Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, October 2026 is released by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The FMGE examination is organized for Indian citizens and overseas citizens of India who have earned primary medical qualifications from institutes abroad and wish to practice medicine in India.

The FMGE October 2026 registration will start from 5 pm on 11th September 2026 as per the schedule. The eligible candidates can apply through the NBEMS website. This application window will be kept open till 25th September 2026, allowing the candidates to register themselves within a limited time period.

The date of FMGE October 2026 test is set to be on October 31, 2026. The test is held using Computer Based Test (CBT) format in examination centers in India. Applicants need to adhere to the eligibility criteria and guidelines given by NBEMS when filling their forms.

The exam is a crucial means of screening candidates who wish to register themselves as doctors in India, having studied medicine in some other country. These candidates need to be qualified in FMGE, subject to certain requirements, in order to register themselves and begin their professional career.
