- A certificate is essential for students pursuing medical education or practice abroad.
- Online submission available from October 13 to October 24, 2025, official portal.
The National Medical Commission's (NMC) Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB) has chosen to restart the application process for the Eligibility Certificate after receiving numerous requests from candidates who faced technical difficulties preventing their earlier applications.
As per the official public announcement, the online platform for new submissions will be available on the NMC’s official site from October 13, 2025 (10 AM) until October 24, 2025 (6 PM). This new chance is intended to help candidates who did not meet the earlier deadline of September 30, 2025, as stated in the NMC’s previous announcement from August 26, 2025.
The commission indicated that the choice was made taking into account the job opportunities of impacted applicants who encountered technical issues during the previous submission period. Applicants can now access the official NMC portal to log in and submit their applications during the designated period.

The NMC also cautioned applicants against postponing the submission of their forms until the last day, highlighting that the process of issuing the Eligibility Certificate includes several verification steps according to current regulations. Applicants are encouraged to complete their forms carefully to avoid delays resulting from mistakes or shortcomings.
The Eligibility Certificate is an essential prerequisite for prospective medical students, especially those planning overseas medical education, confirming that their credentials align with the criteria established by the NMC before advancing their education or practicing in India.
