Telangana NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration Begins

Telangana commences NEET UG 2026 counselling registration on August 5 for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes. Eligible candidates can apply online by submitting documents within the prescribed schedule.

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has started the process of registering for the NEET UG counselling 2026 for admissions to the MBBS and BDS courses provided by government, private, minority, and dental institutions in Telangana State. The qualified candidates in NEET UG 2026 examination can apply online from 5 August 2026.

The procedure for the state counselling process is available to those who apply through the Competent Authority Quota. Candidates are expected to apply online by filling up the application form and submitting all necessary documents along with the fee before the deadline. KNRUHS has also informed the candidates that they need to make sure their application includes all essential information, and incomplete applications would be automatically rejected during the scrutiny process.

The candidates have to upload their documents such as NEET UG 2026 scorecard, 10th & 12th class mark sheets, transfer certificate, study /residence certificate, caste certificate and income certificate (wherever applicable), Aadhaar card, etc. These documents will be verified by the university and after verification; the names of the qualified candidates will be listed for the next process of counseling.

After successful verification of the documents, the eligible candidates shall take part in the online choice filling and allocation of seats procedure. The seats shall be allotted according to the merit in NEET UG, reservation policy, preferences of the candidates, and availability of the seats in the institutions. The allotted candidates shall report to their respective colleges in the prescribed time frame.

The process of counselling is an essential part of the entire undergraduate medical admission procedure in the state of Telangana and takes place parallel to the MCC counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. It is recommended that students go through the eligibility criteria, reservations, and admission procedure before applying to ensure that there are no discrepancies in the verification process.

KNRUHS has advised all the aspirants to check their official counselling website for information on document verification, merit list, choice filling, seat allocation, and reporting dates. By starting the counselling process, the state of Telangana begins the admission procedure for undergraduate medical and dental courses, giving a chance to the NEET qualified students to enroll in the universities of the state.
