The University of Delhi announced the timeline for the upcoming phase of undergraduate admissions through the Common Seat Allocation System (UG) 2025-26, which includes Round-II for enhancing supernumerary quotas and the spot admission round.

As stated by the admissions department, the announcement of enhanced allocations and seat distributions based on quotas, which include Children/Widows of Armed Forces personnel (CW), Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA), Sports, and Ward categories, is scheduled for 5 pm on August 22.

Candidates are required to confirm their assigned seat by 4.59 pm on August 23, and colleges must verify and sanction applications by 11.59 pm that day. The due date for online payment of fees is August 24.

Following this, the list of available seats will be shown at 5 pm on August 25. Students who have not been accepted to any college by August 24 may apply for the spot round until August 27. Allocations for the spot round will be announced on August 28, with seat confirmations required by August 29 and the final fee payment due by August 30.

According to previous university records, a total of 6,079 seats were assigned in supernumerary categories -- 3,263 for CW, 1,091 for ECA, and 1,725 for sports.

These allocations were conducted separately from other common seat allocation system rounds and did not affect the status of candidates who were provisionally allocated or withdrawn previously.

The university has specified that candidates accepted by August 24 will not be able to withdraw their admissions afterward, as their dashboards will be locked. Admissions granted in the spot round will be definitive, allowing no possibility for withdrawal or enhancement.
