Reliance Foundation focuses on education and works to empower youth, especially women. Nita Ambani highlighted this during Reliance Industries’ 46th AGM in December 2022. She stressed the need to empower women for India’s growth, considering that the country is expected to have the largest female population in the world within a decade.
The foundation aims to provide quality education and job opportunities to 250 million children, carrying on the legacy of Reliance founder Dhirubhai Ambani. Since 1996, Reliance has awarded over 28,000 scholarships, showing its commitment to youth-driven national progress. The current program, one of India’s largest private scholarship initiatives, supports students from various backgrounds in reaching academic and professional success.
