The State Bank of India (SBI), via its CSR division SBI Foundation, has introduced the Platinum Jubilee SBI Asha Scholarship 2025 to offer financial aid to deserving students from economically underprivileged backgrounds.

The scholarship provides financial support from Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,00,000 annually, based on the course, until the recipient finishes their studies. Applications will be accepted until November 15, 2025, via the official website sbiashascholarship.co.in.

The scholarship is available to Indian students from Class 9 up to postgraduate level, including those studying in IITs, IIMs, and leading medical and professional colleges. It also includes students who wish to study abroad, especially SC/ST students seeking master’s or advanced education at well-known international universities.

Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 75 percent marks or a 7.0 CGPA in their last academic year to be eligible. The yearly family income must not go beyond Rs 3 lakh for school students and Rs 6 lakh for college and postgraduate students.

The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025 offers complete financial assistance, covering tuition costs and educational expenditures. The range varies from Rs 15,000 for school students to Rs 20,00,000 annually for individuals engaged in higher or international studies.

The program assists students enrolled in NIRF top 300 or NAAC ‘A’ rated colleges, along with scholars at IITs, IIMs, and individuals undertaking medical or international degree courses. It seeks to guarantee that no worthy student is hindered by financial limitations.

Online submissions for applications can be made by going to the official website. Students must complete their academic information, upload necessary documents, and submit the application by the deadline of November 15, 2025.

SBI has allocated Rs 90 crore for this scholarship program for FY26, emphasizing the bank's dedication to building a sustainable educational environment.
