  • Initiative promotes educational and cultural exchange between Slovenia and India for the 2026–2027 academic years.

India is invited to apply for the Republic of Slovenia's 2026-2027 academic year scholarship to study in Slovenia. The scholarship programme continues Slovenia's interest in developing educational and cross cultural relations with Indian residents.

The grants will support Indian students in both their undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate degree programs at multiple levels of study from a full spectrum of disciplines.

These scholarships come in a package to boost international cooperation in education by giving the students a chance to experience the unique academic environment in Slovenia, a country known for its high-quality education system.

The government of Slovenia is therefore offering a range of scholarships-a full tuition fee waiver, living stipends, and travel allowances aimed at alleviating the financial burden those students from India face. This also includes students in areas of science, technology, arts, engineering, and humanities.

The application period for the scholarships is expected to take place from February 2026, and any student willing to apply must comply with the requirements set by the Slovenian Ministry of Education, Science, and Sport.

The scholarship programs are all about diversifying the student body in educational institutions across the country, and as a member of the European Union, the country has a lot to offer to students across the world. It has affordable and quality education.

This move is likely to increase the rate of academic exchange and give Indian students an opportunity to excel in their respective fields worldwide while fostering a better cultural understanding between the nations.
