UH Introduces ApplyHawaii for Applications Across 10 Campuses

The University of Hawaiʻi launches ApplyHawaiʻi, a single undergraduate application for all 10 UH campuses, simplifying admissions for Fall 2027 applicants and reducing complexity across the university system.
The University of Hawaiʻi (UH) launches ApplyHawaiʻi, a new single undergraduate application that allows students to apply to any of the university system’s 10 campuses through one application. The initiative is aimed at simplifying the admissions process and reducing barriers for students seeking higher education.
The new system is available for students applying for fall 2027. It replaces multiple application pathways and accounts that prospective students previously had to navigate depending on the campus or programme they selected.

ApplyHawaiʻi covers UH’s three four-year universities and seven community colleges, enabling students to begin their application through a common platform regardless of their preferred campus. The system is available to first-time freshmen, transfer students and returning students, as well as eligible students participating in Early College programmes.
The University of Hawaiʻi says the initiative is designed to make it easier for students to explore academic options across the system without first having to understand its organisational structure. The application platform also supports the Direct2UH initiative for eligible Hawaiʻi public high school seniors.Graduate programmes and UH Mānoa Outreach College programmes continue to use their existing application processes.
UH President Wendy Hensel says the new system forms part of the university’s broader effort to remove unnecessary complexity from the higher education journey. The university has been working on initiatives that improve access, simplify admissions and make it easier for students to connect with programmes aligned with their interests.
The launch also represents the first step towards a modernised systemwide enrollment technology ecosystem. UH plans to use the foundation created by ApplyHawaiʻi to improve connections among recruitment, admissions and student communications.

The university’s wider accessibility efforts include Direct2UH, which provides eligible public high school seniors with a simplified pathway to admission, as well as initiatives designed to facilitate transfers from UH community colleges to four-year campuses.
With ApplyHawaiʻi, prospective undergraduate students can compare programmes and campuses while using a unified admissions pathway. The initiative is expected to create a more connected and student-focused application experience across the University of Hawaiʻi System.
